Pregnancy monitoring refers to regular medical checkups and diagnostics to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby, reduce risks, and prepare for a safe delivery.
HPV is very common. Most infections clear on their own, but persistent high-risk HPV can cause cervical cell changes. Diagnosis includes HPV testing, Pap cytology, and colposcopy when needed.
CIN is abnormal cervical cell change (not cancer), but it can increase future cancer risk if untreated. Diagnosis uses Pap and HPV tests; colposcopy and biopsy confirm CIN grade. Treatment ranges from monitoring to removing abnormal cells (based on risk).
Cervical cancer is mainly caused by persistent high-risk HPV. Prevention: HPV vaccination + regular screening. Diagnosis: Pap/HPV tests, colposcopy and biopsy. Treatment depends on stage (surgery, radiation, chemotherapy).
AUB is bleeding from the uterus that’s irregular in timing, duration, or amount. Causes range from hormonal/ovulatory issues to polyps or fibroids. Evaluation includes history, exam, blood count, ultrasound, and targeted tests when needed.
Dysmenorrhea is intense cramping pain in the lower abdomen during menstruation. It makes daily life difficult for many women. There are two types: primary and secondary dysmenorrhea.
Pelvic organ prolapse is when the uterus, bladder or rectum drop down from their normal position. It commonly happens after childbirth, with age or when pelvic muscles weaken. It causes discomfort, pain and affects daily life.
